Conceding late goals is becoming a problem for Inter Milan in Serie A.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They note that the Nerazzurri have had costly capitulations against Genoa, AC Milan, Juventus, and now Napoli.

Inter Milan faced bitter disappointment in the grandstand finale of Saturday’s top-of-the-table Serie A clash with Napoli.

The Nerazzurri had appeared to be heading for three huge points in the title race.

But a late Phillip Billings equalizer meant that Inter had to settle for sharing the points with Napoli.

Late Goals A Problem For Inter Milan In Serie A

That’s not the first time that Inter have seen a win slip away in Serie A, though.

In fact, on the very first day of the season, Inter were 2-1 up against Genoa in stoppage time. But a last gasp penalty allowed the Grifone to snatch a point.

Hardly the best start to Inter’s Serie A title defense.

Then, there was the derby against AC Milan. Inter had seemingly held on for a draw – but the concession of a late header to Matteo Gabbia saw them lose their first derby in some time.

Against Juventus in October, Inter were even two goals up late in the match. But a quickfire Kenan Yildiz brace saw the Bianconeri take a result from the wild 4-4 draw.

And now, in another big match, Inter Milan have conceded late to drop points.
