Simon Wood Nominated for FAWNL Manager of the Month After Outstanding November | OneFootball

Leeds United Women manager Simon Wood has been nominated for the FAWNL Division One Manager of the Month award for November after guiding his side to an excellent run of form that has propelled the Whites into the thick of the promotion race.

Leeds wrapped up November with three wins from four in all competitions. Wood’s side opened the month with a gritty 2–1 league victory over Durham Cestria, before delivering an assured FA Cup display to beat Huddersfield Town 3–1. They closed out the month in style, sealing a dominant 3–0 win against Stockport County.

The successful month has seen Leeds United Women rise to fourth place in the FAWNL Division One North, sitting just two points off the top and holding a valuable game in hand.
