Tottenham Hotspur entertained Brighton and Hove Albion at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to secure maximum points at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a bright start to the game and took the lead in the 39th minute thanks to Pedro Porro’s effort. However, Kaoru Mitoma equalised for the visitors in the first half injury time as the two teams went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

Xavi Simons restored Tottenham’s lead in the 77th minute, but Georginio Rutter equalised for Brighton in injury time. The match ended with Spurs being held to a disappointing 2-2 draw in front of their home fans.

He made one good save at the back but conceded two goals this evening.

RB: Pedro Porro – 8/10

Porro made a positive impact on both halves and managed to score the opener in the 39th minute.

CB: Kevin Danso – 6/10

He put his foot through the ball when he could and was good on the ball. However, Danso made a costly error at the back.

CB: Micky van de Ven – 6.5/10

Van de Ven cleared his lines when required and made one decent chance going forward.

LB: Destiny Udogie – 6/10

He came back to defend when he could, but struggled to make an impact inside the opponent’s half.

CM: Yves Bissouma – 6/10

Bissouma failed to impress during his time on the pitch.

CM: Rodrigo Bentancur – 7/10

He anchored the midfield well but lacked quality in the final third.

CM: Conor Gallagher – 7/10

Gallagher earned the ball back twice and made some good runs with it from midfield.

RW: Randal Kolo Muani – 6.5/10

He managed to shine at times on the right wing, but there was no goal for him.

ST: Dominic Solanke – 7/10

Solanke was a real menace in the final third but failed to register a goal.

LW: Xavi Simons – 8.5/10

He was a constant menace on the left flank and has got a goal and an assist to show for his efforts.

RW: Mathyl Tel – 6.5/10

He caused some headaches for his marker.

Gray made one decent run with the ball.

CM: Joao Palhinha – 6/10

He anchored the midfield well.

CM: Lucas Bergvall – 6/10

Bergvall added some energy to Robert De Zerbi’s midfield.
