Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi has made some late alterations to the team that he will deploy against AC Milan tonight, a report claims.

Milan and Inter drew the first leg 1-1 at San Siro, meaning it is all to play for in the fifth and final derby of 2024-25. Both goals came in the second half last time as Tammy Abraham got the opener with a lovely finish, then Hakan Calhanoglu equalised with a long-range effort.

According to the latest from Sky (via MilanPress), the Inter side that will take to the field tonight against Milan should be different from the one that has been talked about in recent days by the media, it seems.

In the last few hours Mehdi Taremi has surpassed Joaquin Correa and Marko Arnautovic in Inzaghi’s preferences, and should therefore be Lautaro Martinez’s partner up front.

Even in midfield there is a possible change considered: Kristjan Asllani should start instead of Hakan Calhanoglu in the regista role, with Nicolo Barella and Henrikh Mkhitaryan flanking him.

Then, at wing-back, Matteo Darmian and Federico Dimarco should be used. Yann Bisseck, Stefan De Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni should play in front of goalkeeper Josep Martinez, according to the latest.
