With four games featuring the five Premier League games fighting for the remaining three Champions League spots, you may wonder which two of the four they have chosen?

The answer is – Nottingham Forest v Chelsea and…Liverpool v Crystal Palace!

Yes, Sky Sports have chosen a match that means absolutely nothing, nothing riding on it whatsoever.

This is bizarre.

So whilst something absolutely massive could be happening in the Villa, Man City or Newcastle matches, Sky Sports instead deciding to show a friendly kickabout that won’t affect anything.

So far, TNT Sports haven’t announced what they will be showing live on Sunday, but I am assuming that it won’t be all of the other three key Champions League deciding matches, if Sky Sports are only showing two PL matches in total on the final day. Hoping of course though that I am proved wrong and all the four matches that will decide the Champions League places will be shown live this Sunday.

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest vs Chelsea will be shown live on Sky Sports on the final day of the Premier League season; from next season, Sky Sports’ Premier League coverage will increase from 128 matches to at least 215 games exclusively live

The drama on the final day is set to come in the race to qualify for next season’s Champions League, with just one point now separating fourth-in-the-table Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest in seventh, with third, fourth and fifth spots still up for grabs.

Nottingham Forest and Chelsea are both still in the mix and play each other on the final day, and the Sky Sports cameras will be at the City Ground as all the drama unfolds in what promises to be a rollercoaster conclusion to the top-flight campaign.
