Sorriso strikes after the restart as Famalicão climb to fifth | OneFootball

Famalicão beat Vitória S.C. 2-1 at Estádio Dom Afonso Henriques, rising from sixth to fifth in Liga Portugal.

In the 17th minute Justin De Haas headed in from close range after Sorriso's cushioned pass to put the visitors ahead. Samu levelled with a left-footed drive from outside the box (23.), set up by Noah Saviolo.

After the restart, Sorriso was first denied by Charles before sweeping in from the centre of the area for the winner (47.).

Lazar Carevic kept the visitors in front with five saves, notably thwarting Saviolo and Nelson Oliveira before the interval.

Telmo Arcanjo and Alioune Ndoye came on just past the hour for Vitória S.C. Ndoye then went close with a header (72.).

The visitors controlled 55.6% possession and forced 11 corners. Vitória S.C. recorded six shots on target from 12 attempts.
