South Korea were knocked out of the World Cup after DR Congo beat Uzbekistan 3-1 on Saturday, a result that means they can no longer finish among the eight best third-placed teams.
According to L'Équipe, South Korea had three points from three group matches and remained in contention until the Leopards' 3-1 win over Uzbekistan. The side featuring Kang-in Lee is now out.

South Korea have dropped to ninth in the ranking of third-placed teams.
Only Algeria and Austria, who meet overnight from Saturday to Sunday at four o'clock, can still target progression via this route.
Should that happen, Iran, currently eighth and the last team in the provisional qualifying positions, would be eliminated.
