WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Saints this afternoon.
Harries has spent the last two seasons with West Ham United after joining the club from Reading in summer 2023. She made 37 appearances for the East Londoners in all competitions in which she scored five goals. The player made a solid contribution to West Ham United’s rise up the Barclays Women’s Super League table.
The 23-year-old left West Ham United at the end of the season and her next challenge will be to help new club Southampton finally achieve a first promotion to the English top flight.
After completing her move to St Mary’s Stadium, Harries said “I would say I’m very hard-working, on and off the ball.
“I like to run in behind, I’m very fast and powerful, I always give 110% so I can definitely promise the Saints fans that.
“Hopefully we can create some really good memories together this year.”
Harries is Southampton’s second signing of the summer transfer window. The club have also signed former Sunderland defender Amy Goddard on a free transfer during the close season.
