The Scout’s verdict is in for Gameweek 36 of Fantasy Premier League as City face Southampton.
Pep Guardiola’s side face Interim manager Simon Rusk's Saints on Saturday 10 May, with kick-off at St Mary's scheduled for 15:00 (UK).
The Blues enter the fixture aiming to extend our unbeaten streak to ten straight matches in all competitions after we brushed past Wolves in a narrow 1-0 win.
With that we will also be looking to create a gap between us and fellow Champions League chasers, Newcastle and Chelsea, as we hope to confirm a place in Europe for another campaign.
Despite already being relegated from the top flight, Southampton will be up for the fight and there's no doubt they'll be determined to gain three points to overtake Derby's points record from the 2007/08 season.
In October’s reverse fixture at the Etihad, Erling Haaland grabbed an early winner inside five minutes for a 1-0 victory and we’ll need to be at our best again this weekend to collect three vital points as we look to solidify Champions League qualification.
As the curtain starts to fall on the season, FPL managers will be looking to maximise their points tally before the campaign closes for another year.
Erling Haaland (£14.8m) returned to the bench last time out, piquing the interest of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers.
Despite injury limiting Haaland to just forty appearances this season, the forward has registered 30 goals and four assists in all competitions.
Haaland has started 28 games this season, scoring 21 Premier League goals; only Alexander Isak (£9.6m) has scored more of the forwards in the game. The Newcastle frontman has scored 23 goals but has started four games more.
The Norwegian has had 102 attempts on goal in the Premier League, of which 93 have come from inside the box and 38 have been big chances.
If he returns to the starting XI in GW36 he should do well against Southampton who have conceded the most goals in the league.
Mateus Fernandez (£5.0m) is Southampton’s top FPL points scorer. The player has five attacking returns in his 31 starts.
Elsewhere, Kevin Schade (£5.1m) and Jarrod Bowen (£7.7m) are low-owned gems who have good potential in GW36.
Schade is the third Brentford play to score double-digit goals after his brace against Manchester United in GW35.
Bowen has now returned in West Ham’s last three Premier League matches registering 28 points in those matches.
