Spurs will have a different figure in the dugout at the Stadium of Light next month after parting company with interim head coach Igor Tudor. The club sit one point above the Premier League relegation zone.

The club said in a statement on Sunday afternoon that Tudor had left by mutual agreement with immediate effect, with Tomislav Rogic, the goalkeeping coach, and Riccardo Ragnacci, the physical coach, also departing.

Spurs have not yet confirmed who will succeed Tudor. Sean Dyche and Roberto De Zerbi have been linked with the role over the past week.

Tudor did not win a game during his six weeks at the club. The statement thanked the trio for their work, acknowledged a recent bereavement suffered by Tudor, and said an update on a new head coach would follow in due course.

Sunderland are 13 points above Spurs ahead of the Stadium of Light meeting when the Premier League returns next month.
