Serious disturbances broke out at Stade Océane after Le Havre beat Toulouse 2-1 on Sunday, and the LFP disciplinary commission will examine the case.
According to L'Équipe, punches were traded between Toulouse supporters and stadium security in the stands after the final whistle.
Some of the 120 travelling supporters crossed the security fences and clashed with security staff. Home supporters entered the pitch and headed towards the flashpoint before being stopped.
The Toulouse ultras tried again, one was taken away by security, and the renewed push was eventually repelled by about 20 CRS riot police.
Regulations for cases under the 'police des terrains' provisions require a seven-day wait before a hearing. The commission will not consider the matter this Wednesday. It is instead expected to take it at its next session on 25 February, unless the timeframe is extended for an investigation, which is not the current trend.
