Zan Vipotnik converted a penalty in the 20th minute to haul Swansea City to a 2-2 draw with Middlesbrough. He added a second from the spot in first half stoppage time.
Vipotnik's first contribution was all composure, rolling his kick into the bottom right after Liam Cullen was fouled in the area. That settled Swansea and flipped the momentum towards the hosts.
He struck again from twelve yards in the fourth minute of first half stoppage time, this time finding the bottom left after Eom Ji-Sung was brought down by Sol Brynn. The forward's calm repeat finished the turnaround before the break.
He ended with four attempts, two on target, and five touches in the box across 56 minutes, underlining how his penalty poise and penalty box presence provided the platform Swansea needed.
His assured finishing from the spot kept Boro at arm's length for long spells and ensured Swansea controlled the game's key phases up to the interval.
Swansea visit Leicester City next. Boro host Portsmouth.
