A Serie A star ‘is liked by West Ham, Aston Villa and Fulham’, but the player’s asking price is classed as ‘very high’.
All three Premier League sides are tipped to be active in this summer’s window as they bid to improve on their respective campaigns.
West Ham let Julen Lopetegui and Tim Steidten go, meaning a new era under Graham Potter, while Aston Villa are trying to strengthen while watching financial fair play rules/
Fulham came up short in a bid to finish in a European spot and boss Marco Silva will demand they improve the squad this summer.
Atalanta’s 25-year-old Italian star Raoul Bellanova is a player all three clubs are keen on, according to Italian journalist Eleonora Trotta.
The Serie A outfit are prepared to cash in on Bellanova this summer, but their asking price, described as ‘very high’ is €40m.
It has been suggested that, London outfit Fulham have been most active around Bellanova in recent days.
Bellanova initially started his career as a full-back, but with the passing of time, he has become a lot more attacking.
Last season, he played as a right-sided wide midfielder and chipped in with an impressive tally of eleven assists in 35 Serie A appearances.
Atalanta are under no pressure to sell Bellanova, as his contract does not expire until the summer of 2029.
If Aston Villa, Fulham and West Ham are genuinely interested, they will need to dish out a handsome amount of money, with favourable terms with the Italian club.
Atalanta managed to finish third in Serie A this season, securing a spot in the Champions League for next term.
None of the three interested Premier League clubs can offer Bellanova Champions League football.
