Stats show Inter extra weapon in Champions League Final

Inter have scored 32,9% of their Serie A goals from set pieces, and four of the last nine Champions League goals came from corner kicks.

It’s their second Champions League Final in the last three years, but the Nerazzurri haven’t won the coveted European trophy since 2010.
It is no secret that Simone Inzaghi’s men have been particularly dangerous from set pieces this season, and stats confirm the Nerazzurri’s threat from dead balls.

As reported by Opta (via Tuttocagliari), the Nerazzurri scored 32,9% of their Serie A goals from set pieces in 2024-25.
Furthermore, as reported by Gazzetta, four of Inter’s last nine Champions League goals were scored from corner kicks.
At the end of a very demanding season, in which Inter have already played 58 games, set pieces could prove crucial, and Inzaghi’s men have already shown they know how to make the most of them.
