Stefano Braghin has announced his decision to leave the Club at the end of a journey that has profoundly impacted the recent history of Juventus and Italian women's football.
Having joined Juventus in 2012 and taken on the role of Women's Football Director in 2017, Stefano was one of the key architects of the birth and development of the Juventus Women's Football project, accompanying its growth with vision, expertise, and a profound work ethic.
Over the years, Juventus Women has established itself as a leading force in Europe, winning trophies, contributing to the movement's evolution, and building a strong, recognizable, and successful identity. A project that, season after season, has become an increasingly important component of the Club's strategy and vision.
"Stefano has played a fundamental role in the development of Juventus Women and in building a project that today represents an important asset for the Club," underlined Damien Comolli, Chief Executive Officer of Juventus. "Over the years, he has demonstrated vision, competence, and extraordinary managerial ability, establishing himself as a recognized and appreciated point of reference for women's football, even at an international level."
"His decision is regrettable from a professional and personal perspective," Comolli added, "but we understand and respect his desire, after more than 14 years at Juventus, to dedicate more time to himself and his personal goals. On behalf of the entire Club, I sincerely thank Stefano for his contribution, passion, and the values he has instilled over the years, wishing him the best for his future."
"After 14 unforgettable years at Juventus, this decision comes with great emotion and enormous gratitude," commented Stefano Braghin. "Looking back, I think with pride of the journey I've made over these 29 years of my career, starting from the lowest levels, and of the privilege of having been able to experience and dedicate such an important part of my professional life to an extraordinary club like Juventus. Having contributed first to the growth of the Youth Sector and then to the construction of the Juventus Women project is one of the greatest prides of my personal and professional journey. Over these years, I've also been fortunate to meet wonderful people, with whom I've shared work, passions, difficulties, and successes, which I will always carry with me. Before closing this chapter, however, there's still one last important final to experience together on Sunday."
