Habib Diarra will miss RC Strasbourg Alsace’s game against Olympique Lyonnais tonight, meaning that Chelsea loanee Andrey Santos will not only start but also captain the team in his absence.

Diarra is a big miss from Strasbourg’s midfield. In his absence, Brighton and Hove Albion loanee Valentín Barco is expected to be moved into the midfield with Diego Moreira filling in at left-back, as he has often done this season. Nottingham Forest loanee Andrew Omobamidele also misses out through injury, as does Abdoul Ouattara and Moïse Sahi Dion.

Liam Rosenior isn’t expected to spring any surprises against Les Gones with the usual suspects: Emanuel Emegha, Dilane Bakwa, Sébastien Nanasi, and Félix Lemarechal, all set to feature in RCSA’s attacking line on Friday night.
