Roma is closely monitoring the foreign market, aiming to strengthen their attack and flanks by capitalizing on other clubs’ cash shortages.
The Giallorossi are particularly interested in Greenwood, with Marseille under pressure and seemingly forced to sell him.
Securing the Englishman will require around €50 million, and June will be crucial: after the 30th, the price could rise again.
Greenwood isn’t the only option: Roma has also been monitoring Summerville for months, a player highly regarded for his technical ability and future prospects.
West Ham, like the French club, is also desperate to raise cash: according to the English website West Ham Way, the Hammers need to raise approximately €150 million through the transfer market, a figure that is forcing them to consider several departures.
Among the players on the way out is the Dutch winger, considered a expendable player.
The difference compared to a few months ago concerns primarily the financial valuation: while West Ham were previously asking for around €40 million, the need for liquidity could now lower their demands, opening up favorable scenarios for the Trigoria club.
Greenwood and Summerville, one does not exclude the other: and the financial pressure on Marseille and West Ham could play a decisive role in the negotiations.
