Sunderland’s travelling support packed the away end as the Black Cats came from behind to beat Everton 3-1 at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. The result keeps their European push alive into the final day.
According to Sunderland Echo, this was the club’s final away match of a remarkable first season back in the Premier League, and the away allocation was sold out.
After the interval, Brian Brobbey levelled with a fine finish. Enzo Le Fée then completed the turnaround late on. Wilson Isidor added a stoppage-time third, sparking huge celebrations in the away section.
The comeback capped another memorable trip for travelling fans, who were rewarded with a rousing second half from Régis Le Bris’ side.
