In a recent report, journalist Graeme Bailey stated that Sunderland forward Brian Brobbey is on the radar of several Premier League clubs this summer. It is believed that Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Juventus, Stuttgart and Atletico Madrid are all looking to sign the Dutch striker from the Black Cats this off-season.
The 24-year-old enjoyed a good run of form at the Dutch club as he produced a string of productive displays for them in the final third. Brobbey scored eight times and earned one assist in 33 matches for Sunderland last season across various competitions.
The 24-year-old is currently one of the most talented centre-forwards in the Premier League. Hence, it is no surprise that so many top clubs are hoping to sign him this summer.
His current deal at the Stadium of Light will run out in the summer of 2029. Thus, Sunderland are under no immediate pressure to cash in on him later this year.

Brobbey is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the eye to create the odd chance for his teammates on the offensive end of the field and is a strong runner with the ball at his feet.
The Dutch sensation can chip in by scoring his fair share of goals up top, but is far from a consistent goal-scorer in the Premier League. Still, he remains one of the first names in Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris’ teamsheet.
Therefore, the Black Cats simply cannot afford to lose him on the cheap in this summer transfer window. Brobbey is good enough to lead the line for the Wearside club every week next season, so Le Bris should only consider letting him go if he receives a massive offer for his services. The Black Cats could use the money generated from his potential sale to bring in a suitable replacement this summer.
At 24, Brobbey has his best years ahead of him. Furthermore, his market value will only increase in the future. Thus, Sunderland should focus on keeping hold of him beyond this summer.
