Sunderland could be tested in the summer window, with Brian Brobbey and Noah Sadiki attracting strong interest, a scenario that would hand sporting director Florent Ghisolfi significant decisions.
The Independent reports that Bayern Munich are monitoring Brobbey’s situation after his first Premier League season. The 24-year-old joined from Ajax for around £17million last summer, a fee that could rise to £21.5million.
He has six goals in 25 appearances, and his physicality, movement and hold-up play have drawn elite attention. The Netherlands forward featured at Euro 2024 and is pushing for World Cup selection, which could further boost his value.
There is no indication Sunderland are willing to sell at this stage, although a formal bid would test their resolve, in line with a model built on developing high-potential talent.
Meanwhile, TEAMtalk reports that Manchester United are keen on 21-year-old Sadiki, with Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton also credited with interest. The DR Congo international joined from Union SG for around £15million and has made 27 league appearances in a standout first campaign.
His energy, defensive awareness and ball progression have made him central to Régis Le Bris’ midfield, and he is on a long-term deal at the Academy of Light. Sunderland could be braced for approaches for both players this summer, leaving Ghisolfi in a pivotal position.
