Sven Jablonski to referee Bayern v Stuttgart DFB-Pokal final | OneFootball

Sven Jablonski has been appointed to referee the DFB-Pokal final between Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart, the German Football Association announced on Monday.

It will be the first time the 36-year-old has taken charge of the German Cup final.

He oversaw 1. FC Köln’s match against 1. FC Heidenheim on Sunday, which marked his 125th Bundesliga game.

Sascha Thielert and Eduard Beitinger will run the lines, with Frank Willenborg named fourth official and Eric Müller the fifth.

Sören Storks and Christian Fischer will serve as video assistant referees, and for the first time they will operate on site in Berlin rather than from Cologne’s Video Assistant Centre.

Jablonski said it was a great honour and described the final as an absolute highlight for his team, adding they are extremely excited for a special football night in Berlin.

The 2025/26 final is scheduled to kick off at 20:00 on 23 May, with record champions Bayern facing defending holders VfB Stuttgart.
