Swansea City beat Portsmouth 2-1 at Fratton Park to climb from 14th to 10th in the Championship.
Ethan Galbraith opened the scoring in the 26th minute, finishing from the left side after Josh Tymon's pass. Josh Key then drilled in from outside the box to the bottom left (39.), set up by Ronald Pereira Martins.
After the restart, Zan Vipotnik was forced off injured (59.). Moments later, Jacob Brown glanced in from close range (64.) after Zak Swanson's cross, his first goal for Portsmouth since joining in February. Half-time substitute Conor Chaplin had earlier been introduced to lift the hosts' attack (46.).
Lawrence Vigouroux preserved the lead late on, saving John Swift's header (90.) and holding Swanson's effort in the second minute of stoppage time.
Portsmouth had 59.3% possession and delivered 33 crosses as they pushed for a leveller. Swansea's resilience showed in 54 clearances. Tymon's assist takes him to nine in the Championship this season, third in the division.
Next, Portsmouth host Derby. Swansea visit Wrexham.
