Swansea City’s play-off hopes took a hefty hit with a 2-0 loss to Welsh rivals Wrexham at the Cae Ras on Friday.

Nathan Broadhead opened the scoring, then a late Liam Cullen own goal confirmed the result. Wrexham are now eight points clear of Swansea in sixth. According to Wales Online, Ben Cabango was named star man.

Lawrence Vigouroux 6, little fault for the first. Josh Key 6, bright before the break but troubled defensively. Ben Cabango 7 competed strongly in the air, while Cameron Burgess 6 won plenty of headers but was undone for Broadhead’s finish.

Marko Stamenic 6 showed flashes and drew a fine save from Okonkwo before going off. Goncalo Franco 7 anchored the better first-half moments, making the most tackles, then faded and was substituted. Ethan Galbraith 6 was tidy without real influence.

Ronald 6 started lively then tailed off and made way. Zan Vipotnik 5 missed a big chance and might have had a penalty. Gustavo Nunes 6 delivered well at times but was untidy, then withdrawn.

From the bench on 59, Eom Jisung 6 found good positions without end product and Malick Yalcouye 6 spurned openings. Liam Cullen 5 endured a nightmare cameo with an own goal. Melker Widell 5 arrived on 75, Leo Walta 5 replaced Tymon on 85.
