That is according to Football Insider, who claims that the Robins are hoping to secure a loan deal for the youngster in this January transfer window.

The 21-year-old is back to full fitness and Palace are aiming to send him out on loan this month, to ensure that he can continue his development in the second half of the season.

This is Ian Holloway's first transfer window since arriving at Swindon back in October, and with his side flirting with relegation, he will be hopeful that the signings he makes this month will have a positive impact. Raymond could well be the positive impact that they are looking for.

Jadan Raymond will have a point to prove in the senior game

The Crystal Palace youngster has been with the club since under-nine level and has progressed through the ranks, having signed a professional contract in 2020.

Between March and October last year, Raymond was unfortunately sidelined through injury but he is now back to full fitness and ready to show Palace that he is capable of playing in the senior game.

The 21-year-old plays anywhere behind the striker and likes to create goals and find the back of the net himself on occasion. He has featured for Wales at U21 level, and also earned a place on Crystal Palace's first-team bench on two occasions last season in the Premier League.

It is always a risk for clubs in the EFL to sign Premier League players on loan who have never played at the senior level, but quite often that risk has paid off, and Holloway will be hoping that Raymond can shine in League Two.

Swindon Town are desperate for improvement

It has been a few months to forget for Swindon Town, who have been in and around the relegation zone for the majority of the 2024/25 campaign so far. Ian Holloway arrived in October, after nearly three years away from the game, with Swindon in 22nd place in League Two.

Holloway has a big task on his hands and there is naturally a lot of pressure on his shoulders to ensure the club stay outside of the drop zone, and in recent weeks there has been noticeable improvements.

In their last five games, they have lost just one and won two, so it seems as though they are back on the right track following a horrid few months. The Robins' recent home form has been good in particular, as they have won four of their last five home league games which has ultimately seen them climb outside of the drop zone.
