Taffarel to attend Santos v Corinthians with Brazão in focus before Brazil squad announcement | OneFootball

Brazil goalkeeping coach Taffarel and Carlo Ancelotti’s staff will watch Santos face Corinthians at Vila Belmiro on Sunday 15 at 16:00 in the Brasileirão.

According to Diario Do Peixe, assistants Mino Fulco and Franchesco Mauri, plus Bruno Baquete, will be present alongside Taffarel for the sixth round.

Ancelotti will also attend Santos against Mirassol on Tuesday 10 at 21:30 at José Maria de Campos Maia, alongside Rodrigo Caetano, Brazil’s general coordinator.

Neymar is on Brazil’s provisional list, did not travel to Mirassol due to load management, and should feature in the clássico.

Santos keeper Gabriel Brazão has previously made a Brazil pre-list, while Corinthians’ Hugo Souza has already been called up. A standout display from Brazão could put him firmly on the staff’s radar.

The call-up on Monday 16 will be Ancelotti’s last before the official World Cup list, covering friendlies in the United States against France on 26 at 18:00 in Foxborough and against Croatia on 31 in Orlando. After those games, the final squad will face Egypt at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland on 16 June.
