El Clásico remains a heated rivalry but it still can appreciate sheer brilliance.
It's 19 years since Barcelona ran out 3-0 winners in the clash thanks in no small part to a Ronaldinho brace that earned the Santiago Bernabéu's respect.
Already leading by Samuel Eto'o's first-half opener, the visitors' mercurial Brazilian upped the ante shortly before the interval with a sublime solo effort.
He followed it up with an equally impressive strike little more than a quarter of an hour later which drew a standing ovation from Los Blancos supporters.
A special night for one of the game's finest talents.
