According to Diario Do Peixe, the attacking midfielder has recovered from a right hamstring oedema and trained on Friday. He could feature against Noroeste on Sunday at 16:00 in Bauru, in the Paulistão.
Vojvoda's side have one more session on Saturday morning before travelling. This year he played the first four Paulistão rounds before injury. He scored against Novorizontino at Vila Belmiro in the season opener, the club's only win of the year.
Signed last year, he has been criticised by supporters and questioned by the press. He cost four and a half million euros, about R$32 million at the time, arriving from Bahia, and signed through 2028. He struggled to impress and was omitted between July and September by Cleber Xavier's previous staff.
In 2025 he scored two in 11 Paulistão games, made one Copa do Brasil appearance, and added three in 19 Brasileiro matches. Since Vojvoda's arrival, he has gradually gained opportunities.
Born in Campina Grande, Paraíba, the 30-year-old came through at Porto de Pernambuco then joined Boa Esporte, from where he was loaned to Santos. He featured for the under-23s in the 2016 and 2017 Copa Paulista, making 16 appearances and scoring five.
Despite training with the first team, his only senior outing then was a friendly, coming on in a 5-1 win over Kenitra at Pacaembu in January 2017. He returned to Boa Esporte, joined Grêmio, then had loans at Bahia and Altay in Türkiye, before Bahia bought him in 2023.
