The 11 Real Madrid players called up for first day of pre-season training | OneFootball

The 11 first-team players expected to report for the opening day of pre-season training at La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Sunday been revealed.

A new era is of course set to be kickstarted in Spain’s capital this coming week.

Following the return of José Mourinho to the Real Madrid bench this summer, the Portuguese will oversee his first training session on Monday morning.

A whole host of Los Blancos’ star performers will not be required to attend, owing to their respective campaigns at the World Cup in North America.

For those not called up by their nations, though, tomorrow will mark their first opportunity to impress their headmaster for the season ahead.

And as alluded to above, on the eve of the session, those called up by the Real Madrid coaching staff have been revealed.

As per a report from Blancos journalist Arancha Rodriguez, alongside a number of youth talents, the following first-team players will be in attendance at Valdebebas:

Andriy Lunin, Éder Militão, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Raúl Asencio, Álvaro Carreras, Ferland Mendy, Dean Huijsen, Eduardo Camavinga, Rodrygo, Gonzalo García and Franco Mastantuono.
