The Chivas U-21 side draws vs. Atlas in the Quarterfinals First Leg, leaving it all to be decided in the Second Leg

Guadalajara’s U-21 team played the Quarterfinals First Leg of the CL26 this morning against Atlas, in a match that ended in a 1-1 draw.
From the opening minutes, Guadalajara took the initiative, relied on combination play, and consistently created attacking chances, while also showing defensive solidity that limited the opponent’s opportunities.
In the second half, the Rebaño found its reward. In the 68th minute, Gael ‘Galleta’ García appeared inside the box after an assist from Jesús Hernández and, with a volley, sent the ball into the back of the net to make it 1-0. However, minutes later, a defensive misfortune resulted in an own goal that gave the Rojinegros the equalizer.
Now, our side will have to go all out in the Second Leg, set to be played on Saturday, May 2 at Verde Valle at 9:00 AM, where they will look to impose their conditions in front of their fans and deliver a statement performance to seal their place in the Semifinals.
