Not even the heat hitting the Perla Tapatía could stop them. Between chants, flags, and an energy only the love for the most Mexican team of all can create, around 10,000 Chivahermanos gathered this afternoon at the Estadio Jalisco to support Chivas during their open training session, ahead of what is so far the most important match of the CL26 season.

One day before playing the second leg of the Clausura 2026 Semifinals against Cruz Azul, the connection between Chivas and its fans is stronger than ever. Shortly before 3 p.m., the streets around the Coloso de la Calzada Independencia began turning red and white.

Entire families, groups of friends, flags, historic jerseys, and the dream of reaching the Grand Final set the tone for a very special atmosphere around Club Deportivo Guadalajara.

Once the squad stepped onto the pitch, the support was immediate. The stadium roared with chants, applause, and constant encouragement for Gabriel Milito’s side, who felt the backing of a fanbase dreaming of lifting the club’s 13th league title.

Every drill was accompanied by the supporters, turning the training session into a true red-and-white carnival. The players responded with applause toward the stands, creating a powerful connection between team and fans. “El Oso” González further ignited the atmosphere by gifting a jersey to the crowd, while Richy Ledezma and Omar Govea also shared special moments with the Chivahermanos in attendance.

Later on, Ángel Sepúlveda, José Castillo, and Ricardo Marín grabbed red-and-white flags and waved them in front of the crowd, prompting the entire stadium to sing at full volume and jump to the rhythm of “Dale Rebaño.”

Another emotional moment came when Gilberto “Tiba” Sepúlveda approached the stands, took off his jersey, signed it, and gave it to a young fan, while Santiago Sandoval removed his boots and threw them into the crowd as a sign of gratitude. Even Amaury Vergara interacted with attendees and signed several shirts thrown to him by supporters.

The energy felt at the Jalisco this afternoon offered a glimpse of what the Nación Rojiblanca  will bring to the stands tomorrow. Team and fans will once again play as one, ready to fight for a place in the Grand Final of Mexican football.
