SV Werder Bremen and partner hummel proudly present the new home kit for the 2025/26 season. The new jersey tells the story of what connects Bremen – the tram lines that weave through the city, linking neighbourhoods, lively squares, culture, tradition, and thousands of Werder fans.
When Werder play at home, the whole city moves – and the trams become the veins of Bremen, carrying thousands of fans in Green and White to the Weserstadion. The new jersey reflects exactly that: subtle pinstripes running across the front and back represent Bremen’s tram lines. Classic hummel chevrons down the sides and contrast sleeve cuffs complete the clean, modern look.
Fans won’t have to wait long to see it in action. Just like in recent years, SVW will kick off their summer with a friendly in the hometown of main partner MATTHÄI. The new home kit will make its debut on Saturday, 12th July, when Werder take on Oberliga side FC Verden 04 at the Stadion am Berliner Ring (15:30 CEST).

“Our partner hummel has once again done a fantastic job with the new home kit,” said Klaus Filbry, CEO at Werder Bremen. “Werder lives through its connection to the fans, and I think it’s brilliant how that connection is reflected in the design. We’re excited to see the jersey in action for the first time in MATTHÄI’s backyard.”
"The bond between Werder Bremen, its fans, and the city is truly special, and that’s exactly what we wanted to reflect in this season’s home kit. The tram lines that run through Bremen are a powerful symbol of unity, movement, and passion - values that perfectly align with both hummel and Werder. We’re proud to bring that story to life in a jersey that fans can wear with pride, on matchdays and beyond,” said Marketing Director at hummel, Morten Lund.
