Manchester City and Brighton have confirmed their starting lineups for today’s massive Premier League clash at the Amex Stadium. Fabian Hurzeler’s side will be aiming to continue City’s losing streak today. But you do get the impression that the world champions will be looking to respond against Brighton today.
For Manchester City, they will enter today’s match with five players out through injury. Ruben Dias, John Stones, Jack Grealish, Rodri and Oscar Bobb are out of today’s game. Pep Guardiola confirmed City’s absentees during his pre-match press conference yesterday.
Could today see Kevin De Bruyne make an impact? The Manchester City club legend has been missed during his injury layoff. He made his return to the pitch during City’s 4-1 defeat to Sporting CP on Tuesday evening. If ever City needed a lift, it could be today as they look to end their three-game losing skid. De Bruyne could be the man to provide it based on his previous heroics for the club.
