Hansi Flick’s Barcelona has been characterised by a high goalscoring rate, something that puts into perspective the manager’s attacking brand of football.
The German coach, after all, has always prioritised attacking output over defensive stability, and in the process, created a monstrous team in the final third who can score goals for fun.
Now, as relayed by Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are on the verge of hitting a new milestone as they approach the 300 goal mark under him – all in under two seasons.
So far, Barcelona have scored 299 goals under Hansi Flick, of which 174 came during the 2024-25 campaign and 125 have come so far this season. One goal against Atletico Madrid will ensure they hit the 300-goal mark.
Of the 299 goals so far, 102 goals came in La Liga last season, while 78 came in the same competition this season, making it a total of 180 goals.
They scored 43 and 30 in the UEFA Champions League last season and this season, respectively, making it 73 on that front.

In the Copa del Rey, they scored 22 goals last season and nine this season, while the Spanish Super Cup saw them accumulate seven and eight respectively.
In terms of goal scorers, Robert Lewandowski leads the way with 58 goals in the two seasons while Raphinha and Lamine Yamal follow with 53 and 39, respectively.
Ferran Torres has scored 34 times, with Dani Olmo and Fermin Lopez having 20 apiece.
In fact, it is impressive that Barcelona failed to score in only two games last season and two games this season, a statistic that puts into perspective how ruthless their attack is.
Now, as they approach the 300-goal mark, they have a chance to do so by scoring against one of the only two teams that they failed to score against earlier this season.
