At 33, Kenza Dali brings a vast amount of experience in midfield to San Diego. She started her career in Paris before hopping around France to Lyon, Lille, and Dijon. From there, she crossed the pond to take on the WSL with West Ham, Everton, and Aston Villa. After three seasons with Villa, Dali made her way to San Diego.
Dali has also played at the international level with France, where she has scored six goals in all competitions. Her experiences in two of Europe's top leagues provide her with an even greater advantage in coming to the NWSL. She has proven she can compete with the best of the best in France, England, and now America.
While Dali is a midfielder and certainly can put in a defensive shift, she is also clinical when it comes to scoring goals. San Diego Wave's 4-1 win against Louisville saw Dali score her first NWSL goal, finding the back of the net with a brilliant free kick. She has also assisted once this season. The Wave sit seventh in the table, but the team has had tough matchups so far. Dali will hope to continue to find the back of the net and challenge for an NWSL title.

Delphine Cascarino is Wave's second French player and a crucial one at that. The striker has been lethal already, with two goals and three assists in five games. Cascarino scored a brace in match week five in that 4-1 win at Louisville. She also recorded her third assist on a perfect pass to Melanie Barcenas.
Cascarino is in her second season with San Diego, and her first season numbers have already been matched in half as many games as she played. Before coming to the NWSL, Cascarino had been with Lyon since 2014. She had 21 goals and 15 assists with Lyon in Division 1 Feminine.
She has also been successful on the international stage. With over 70 senior appearances for France, the striker has scored on fourteen occasions and produced several assists, as well. She also played with the U-20 side and the U-19 side.
