Like it does every week, Major League Soccer produced a highlight reel of absolutely stunning goals. Surprise, surprise.
Here are the best from the weekend.
The Vancouver Whitecaps pulled off a shocking 7-0 win over the Eastern Conference leaders, thanks in large part to the leadership of Thomas Müller.
A hat-trick and an assist for the German star, and his header earns a spot on this list simply for the nostalgia. Can't erase greatness.
Who doesn't love it when something straight off the training ground works out?
Cole Basset took the free-kick responsibility for the Colorado Rapids and executed it perfectly. A brilliant curl around the wall and nothing the goalkeeper could do about it.
Now this one is all about composure.
Denis Bouanga was another one of the MLS stars to register a hat-trick on the weekend, and his second was a perfect chip after exposing a high line. Talk about veteran experience.
Now we turn our attention to FC Cincinnati. In the dying seconds of a match with a playoff berth on the line, Evander took a cracking shot that virtually broke the net as the home fans erupted. That's why they bought him!
Finally, we have an outrageous attempt from 22-year-old Nectarios Triantis.
It was on his debut. It was struck inside his own half. It embarrassed the goalkeeper. It arrived in the 92nd minute. Can't get much better than this.
