The most impressive numbers of 2025, from the 3,000th Bundesliga goal and Bahoya’s two records to new milestones off the pitch.

Starting with a climb: 7

It’s good that history offers as little protection from successes as it does from disappointments. The sheer number of years spent in the top flight are why Eintracht Frankfurt currently have the most defeats in Bundesliga history.

At the same time, the 1-0 win over St. Pauli at the start of the year saw the Eagles promptly jump from eighth to seventh in the all-time table.

Round finish: 3,000

A circle was completed on the final day of the 2024/25 season, as Eintracht not only sealed qualification for the UEFA Champions League, but Ansgar Knauff also scored the club’s 3000th goal in the German top flight with the equaliser to make it 1-1.

Spread Eagles: 296 plus 496

Overall, Eintracht’s 296 different goalscorers and 496 players used are current Bundesliga records.

Cross-season run: 8

The Eagles picked up from the victory at Freiburg at the beginning of the current season, with a 4-1 win against Werder Bremen and a 3-1 success at TSG Hoffenheim increasing their unbeaten run in the league to eight games. It was their longest streak under Dino Toppmöller and best since 2020/21.

Goals galore in Gladbach: 10

The 6-4 win on 27 September equalled the highest-scoring match involving Eintracht since 1974. Ten goals were also scored in the 5-5 draw against VfB Stuttgart and the 9-1 thrashing of Rot-Weiß Essen, both in the 1974/75 campaign. It nearly matched the record set on 14 November 1981, when the Eagles beat Werder Bremen 9-2.

Batshuayi: 90 plus 6

Michy Batshuayi is currently sidelined by injury, but that doesn’t take away from the Belgian’s status as a late poacher. Three of his four goals this year came off the bench, the most substitute goals for Eintracht in 2025.

As well as that, the 32-year-old scored the Eagles’ latest league goal both last season and so far this season. The striker netted the equaliser in the 1-1 draw against Wolfsburg on 30 November after 95 minutes and 24 seconds, as well as the final goal in the 3-1 victory at Bochum on 16 March after 95 minutes and 46 seconds.

Bahoya: 37 plus 46

Fittingly, in the same meeting with Bochum on Matchday 26, Jean-Mattéo Bahoya set a new Bundesliga speed record of 37.16 kilometres per hour. The Frenchman also scored the second goal after half an hour before being taken off in the 65th minute.

And that brings us to the next unique feature of Frankfurt's number 19, who reached 46 appearances in the German top flight before the end of the year without ever having played the full 90 minutes – a new high for the high-speed player.

Passing century mark together: 102

Eintracht Frankfurt’s men’s and women’s first teams registered a combined total of 102 Bundesliga points over the past 12 months: the men 58 in 34 games, the women 44 in 24 outings. That’s the highest combined figure behind double champions FC Bayern Munich and Bayer 04 Leverkusen, although the latter played one more match.

Concert audience: 611,000

It wasn’t just the home stands that were fully occupied again in 2025, but the stadium’s summer of events also enjoyed greater popularity than ever before. A total of 611,000 people attended 16 concerts in 79 days – a new record.

Community: 7,000,000

Eintracht hit another milestone off the pitch, too – or rather, its supporters did. Since the autumn, the club has over seven million followers across all its social media channels!
