Anísio Cabral, Portugal U17 striker and scorer of the winning goal: “I feel really good, it’s a very special moment. I’m lost for words… we are world champions! The goals are the result of hard work.”

Bernardo Lima, Portugal U17 midfielder: “It’s been an unforgettable year. If you asked me one year ago if we would be here, I’d probably have said I don’t know, I’d have my doubts. But this team in incredible. We have a great togetherness, a great team and that is what we showed and thanks to that we managed to win the Euro and the World Cup.

“The sensation to lift another trophy is incredible. I think this one is a little more special because it’s the World Cup. We have taken Portugal to the top. That is what we wanted to do and we did it!”
