Theo Hernandez spotted meeting with Paolo Maldini in Milan – video

AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez was spotted catching up with Paolo Maldini in Milano yesterday afternoon, a report claims.

Maldini was the one who brought Theo to Milan during the 2019 summer transfer window when he was working as a director, and the French left-back has always spoken very highly of the former captain, calling him his idol on several occasions.

According to Stefano Turati of TeleLombardia – and as shown in the video below – Theo and Maldini ‘had a long coffee together’ on Monday afternoon somewhere in the city centre. The pair could be seen smiling.

Of course it is entirely possible that it was a simple catch-up between friends and former colleagues, but it will certainly provoke speculation about a deeper meaning given Theo’s struggles for form this season and doubts about his future.
