Thiago Silva, the Porto centre-back, features prominently in a Chelsea documentary on the club’s links with Brazil. According to O Jogo, Chelsea forward João Pedro praises him, and Silva reciprocates.
João Pedro, 24, describes Thiago Silva as a legend and a model of a career he aims to follow.

He has 14 goals and five assists in 36 games for the English club this season.
Silva says facing João Pedro is always very difficult, calling him a number nine who does not stay fixed and drifts into spaces, which leaves defenders without a reference point.
