According to O Jogo, Thiago Silva will miss Sunday’s I Liga match between Porto and Moreirense following the death of his mother.
The centre-back is still deciding when to travel to Brazil, but he will not be available for the fixture at Estádio do Dragão.

His mother, Angela Maria da Silva, was 70.
The bereavement comes five days after the death of his mother-in-law, the mother of his wife, Isabelle Silva.
On Saturday, Isabelle, an influencer, posted a mourning message on social media for Angela. She said the family were still processing the loss, would miss her and cherished their memories, and wished her to rest in peace.
