Thomas Frank has confirmed that Randal Kolo Muani is available for Tottenham’s trip to Arsenal, with the striker set to feature while wearing a protective mask following a fractured jaw sustained in the recent 2-2 draw with Manchester United.
Kolo Muani has trained fully ahead of the weekend and is one of several boosts for Frank, who also expects midfielders Pape Matar Sarr and Lucas Bergvall to be fit. Both players returned to training on Friday and are in contention as Tottenham look to manage a demanding early-season injury list.
“Pape trained today, ready and available. Lucas trained today and is available,” Frank said speaking to media. “Kolo Muani trained today as well. He’s available, of course, he has a mask he needs to play with.”
The outlook is less clear for Dominic Solanke, whose absence has stretched Tottenham’s attacking options. Solanke has not featured since August after minor ankle surgery, and despite encouraging progress, the club remains cautious.
“Dom is not ready yet,” Frank said. “When we put him out there, we want to be as sure as possible there will be no setback. I’m comfortable he will soon be ready.”
