Thursday’s reports claim that three Lazio stars went and apologised to head coach Maurizio Sarri and director Angelo Fabiani in front of the team following their errors in the team’s 1-0 Derby della Capitale loss to rivals Roma last weekend.
Lazio lost 1-0 thanks to a loan goal from Lorenzo Pellegrini in a game that saw two Biancocelesti players in Reda Belahyane and Matteo Guendouzi sent off.
Belahyane was shown a straight red card for a dangerous challenge on Roma’s Manu Kone, planting his studs into the back of the Frenchman’s calf, while Guendouzi was sent off at full-time for dissent towards the referee.

Both of those players have since apologised to the team, head coach and sporting director for their actions in the Derby, according to reports from TMW.
Thursday’s report claims that full-back Nuno Tavares also got up and apologised to the Lazio team for his error in possession within his own area, which led to Pellegrini’s first-half goal.
