Manchester United have several players called up to the England under-20 squad.
England Football have reported that there are three United stars named in the England under-20 squad.
The three Lions will take on Italy in Chesterfield on Friday 5th September.
The Under-20s are in fine form, having not lost a match in all of the 2024-2025 season and will hope to continue this wave of optimism into this campaign.
The young keeper is currently on loan at Shrewsbury Town this season.
He has had a mixed start to the season but his loan sprang into life midweek when he played a vital role in Tuesday’s victory over Chelsea u-21s in the Football League Trophy.
Harrison has already made one appearance for the under-20s and will hope to add to his cap collection next month.
The defender joined from Arsenal last January and has impressed numerous fans already.
The 18-year-old defender played six times for the senior team last year, impressing versus former side Arsenal in the league.
He has been less involved this season but did start United’s shambolic defeat to Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
The youngster has been named as one of the defenders and will be eyeing his first start for the under-20s, having represented the under-18s and 19s before.
Manager Ruben Amorim clearly sees a big future for the Englishman as he claimed at the end of last season that the club need more players like the 18-year-old going forward.
Finally, Wheatley has been named as one of the strikers in the group.
The forward made his senior debut for the Red Devils in 2024, becoming the 250th academy graduate to make a senior debut for the club.
He spent part of last season on loan at Walsall and he is currently playing at Northampton Town until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old scored his first senior goal last weekend and will hope to take this confidence into the international break.
