Sergio Conceicao is expected to be helped with the return of three first-team players in time to face Bologna in the Coppa Italia final on Wednesday, following Milan’s 3-1 win over the Rossoblu in Serie A on Friday night.

A Santiago Gimenez brace and an individual strike from Christian Pulisic were enough for the Rossoneri to overturn Riccardo Orsolini’s first-half opener in San Siro on Friday evening in the first of a double-header between Milan and Bologna.

The two teams will meet again at the Stadio Olimpico for the Coppa Italia final on Wednesday, and fans using Minimum Deposit Casinos currently see the Rossoneri as favourites to win the Cup, which would be their second trophy this term.

Milan were forced into an unplanned substitution just 14 minutes into Friday’s game against Bologna when Fikayo Tomori needed treatment after a freak accident that saw him hurt his neck in a collision with Benja Dominguez’s back.

The former Chelsea defender was replaced by Malick Thiaw and was taken down the tunnel for further assessment, but updates from TMW on Sunday suggest that he will be back with the team in time to face Bologna in the Coppa Italia final on Wednesday.

Milan also had to do without star attacker Rafael Leao in their Friday night game against Bologna.

The Portugal international picked up his fifth Serie A yellow card of the season during the 2-1 win over Genoa last weekend, which meant that he was suspended for the league game against Bologna, but will be eligible in time to face them again in the cup final on Wednesday.

Youssouf Fofana was also forced to withdraw in the first-half of the 2-1 win over Genoa last weekend. He has been training individually in recent days and is expected to return to training with the rest of the first-team group on Sunday.

All three players are expected to compete for a starting jersey for the Coppa Italia final.

Milan have qualified for the final after a 6-1 victory over Sassuolo in the round of 16, a 3-1 win over Roma in the quarter-finals and a 4-1 aggregate victory over rivals Inter in the semis.

Bologna’s route to the final has seen them defeat Monza 4-0, Atalanta 1-0 and Empoli 5-1 over two legs of the semi-finals.

In terms of league form, there is little to separate the two sides, other than the fact that Milan rose to a 3-1 victory the last time they met, on Friday night.

Over their last 10 league matches, Milan have picked up 19 points, made up of six wins, one draw and three losses, while Bologna have 18 points over the same period from five wins, three draws and two losses.
