Marseille's Timothy Weah followed in his father's footsteps with a memorable goal on his Champions League debut for Marseille against Real Madrid on Tuesday night.
The Ligue 1 side took a surprise lead at the Bernabéu in the first half as Mason Greenwood dispossessed Arda Güler in the middle of the park, drove forward and fed Weah with a through ball.
On his debut for in the competition for Marseille, having joined them on loan from Juventus in the summer, the 25-year-old produced a fantastic finish to put his side in front.
Back in 1994, Weah's father George also scored on his debut the Champions League, representing Paris Saint-Germain in their first-ever group stage clash against Bayern Munich.
And that's not the only thing they have in common - incredible!
Like father, like son!
