The São Paulo sports court has postponed Tuesday's hearing into the fallout from Palmeiras' 1-0 win over Corinthians in the Campeonato Paulista.
According to Globo.com, Abel Ferreira, Luighi, both clubs and Alessandro da Silva, the Neo Química Arena ball boy, were due before the TJD-SP second commission from 4pm. No new date has been set.
Palmeiras head coach Ferreira was sent off at 35 minutes of the second half for sarcastically clapping in protest after an initial booking. He was cited under CBJD article 258 §2 II for disrespecting the match officials, which carries a ban of one to six matches.
Luighi faces a charge for striking a Corinthians supporter with the ball while celebrating Flaco López’s goal that sealed the 1-0 victory. He is charged under article 258 for conduct contrary to sporting discipline, with a possible suspension of one to six matches.
Andreas Pereira, who scuffed the penalty spot before Memphis Depay’s attempt, was not charged.
Palmeiras also face two counts over the post-goal melee, with potential fines of R$ 20,000 in one case and from R$ 100 to R$ 100,000 in the other. Corinthians were likewise charged, as was ball boy Alessandro da Silva, who, according to referee Raphael Claus, kicked Sosa during the disorder.
