According to kicker, Hoffenheim midfielder Tom Bischof is leaning towards a move to Bayern Munich.
It has been well documented that Bischof’s contract with Die Kraichgauer is set to expire this summer, and the midfielder has garnered significant interest from a number of Bundesliga sides.
Bayern Munich and Eintracht Frankfurt have been the two most notable sides battling it out for the 19-year-old’s signature, with Die Adler previously believed to be ahead of the record champions.
However, there now appears to be a change in the race for Bischof, with kicker reporting that Hoffenheim’s clash with Bayern on Wednesday could be pivotal, and a decision could be made after the game.
Prior reports have suggested that should Der Rekordmeister land the 19-year-old, then they would look to loan him out for the 2025/26 campaign.
Nevertheless, it is understood that these claims are wide of the mark, and instead, Bayern would look to convince Bischof to sign as a replacement for Leon Goretzka, who would be offloaded in the summer.
Regardless, the midfielder’s long-term future will certainly not be with Die Kraichgauer, who are currently embroiled in a relegation battle, and many insiders believe Bischof is now leaning towards a move to Bavaria.
