Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck delivered an honest verdict on Sunday’s 2-2 Serie A draw at Torino.
Speaking to Nuova DS via FCInterNews, the 25-year-old urged his teammates to bounce back against Parma next week.
Cristian Chivu’s side squandered a two-goal lead at Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino yesterday.
Indeed, Marcus Thuram gave the Nerazzurri a narrow half-time advantage after heading home Federico Dimarco’s cross in the 23rd minute.
Furthermore, Yann Bisseck made it 2-0 for the visitors just after the hour mark. Indeed, the star center-back scored his third league goal in the 2025/26 campaign.
Dimarco registered his 17th Serie A assist of the season, setting up the former Aarhus man on a silver platter.
Though it looked like Inter would secure a fourth consecutive league win, Torino salvaged a point.
Giovanni Simeone sparked the comeback in the 70th minute before Nikola Vlasic converted a controversial penalty to restore parity.
As a result, the San Siro giants failed to beat Torino for the first time in eight Serie A clashes.
Asked what happened yesterday, Bisseck replied: “Good question. Torino did well – they didn’t give up.
“We had a bit of fatigue, a bit of carelessness, maybe even too much. A strong team like ours, once you’re 2-0 up, that shouldn’t happen anymore.”
Then, he urged his teammates to put Sunday’s disappointment behind them and prepare for the upcoming game against Parma.
Indeed, the Nerazzurri could seal their 21st Scudetto with a home win against season-long bottom-half strugglers next weekend.
“We have to do it, there’s nothing else to say. We have to win,” Bisseck insisted.
Finally, he discussed a potential title celebration at San Siro.
“First, we have to play 95 minutes of serious football,” he added. “Then if we do what I think we can do, we can have a nice celebration.”
