In recent transfer windows, PSG have prioritized bolstering their center-back options with emerging talent. William Pacho, Lucas Beraldo, and Illia Zabarnyi have all joined the squad, laying the foundation for the club’s next generation of defenders.

Marquinhos’ time at PSG is slowly drawing to a close, and Presnel Kimpembe has already moved on. Lucas Hernandez has battled injuries and, like Marquinhos, is entering the twilight of his prime.

According to CaughtOffside, Tottenham Hotspur are weighing up a potential January move for Gila, who has become a strong candidate to bolster Thomas Frank’s back line.

The outlet adds that Tottenham face competition for the Spaniard’s signature. Crystal Palace, Brighton, and Everton have all been monitoring Gila closely. There was also firm interest during the summer, with Brighton and Bournemouth reportedly reaching out to his representatives while assessing defensive options.
