Tottenham exploring a move for Marcus Rashford | OneFootball

Tottenham Hotspur  are reportedly keen on signing Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.

The England international spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Barcelona where he scored 14 goals and made 12 assists for the La Liga champions in all competitions. However, Barça elected not to make Rashford's loan move permanent instead spending big on Newcastle Untied forward Anthony Gordon.

That leaves the 28-year-old's future in the air with the player apparently favouring another move abroad but with interest from the Premier League.

One of those clubs is Tottenham Hotspur according to journalist Pete Hall of The i Paper. Spurs are looking to refresh following two poor finishes just above the relegation zone with Rashford among their targets.

However, Tottenham would be unwilling to pay the £40 million United may want for the player and would look to negotiate for a lower price. That could happen with United particularly to keen to get Rashford's wages off the books with the academy product one of the highest earners at the club.
